Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) continues to support universities across India through its Margadarshan and mentoring program, fostering knowledge exchange and academic collaboration. On July 15, 2024, a delegation of senior administrators from Kochi visited Amrita’s Coimbatore campus to study the university’s best practices in innovation.

The delegation included Dr. Hareesh N. Ramanathan, Director of International Relations at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), and Dr. Simmy Kurian, Deputy Director – Management Programs at Jain University, Kochi Campus. During their visit, Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman of IQAC at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, showcased the university’s exemplary practices.

Dr. Prashant highlighted initiatives such as awarding grace marks for participation in hackathons and competitions, as well as the role of the Amrita Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE) in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. This visit is part of Amrita IQAC’s ongoing commitment to sharing its successful strategies and supporting the growth of higher education institutions nationwide.
