Abstract : In the past there are many leadership era’s through which leadership theories emerged and from leadership theories leadership styles evolved. Now, in 20’s the transformational and transactional leadership are in trend but the trend is moving forward and organizations are updating its leadership methods and focusing more on its innovation activities through their day to day changes by radically and incrementally. Thus, the change evolved as ambidextrous leadership in today’s emerging scenario, which involved opening and closing leadership behaviors, which leads to exploration and exploitation behaviors. There are several factors influencing ambidextrous leadership, the study try to find out those through factor analysis. The principle component method was used to test its variance on ambidextrous leadership. The KMO Bartlett’s test value for sample adequacy is significant. Finally, the study explains the factors influencing ambidextrous leadership on a study in IT sector in south India.
