Dr. Neelam Sodhi is an MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology, renowned for creating parent-led support services in Ludhiana, Punjab. In 1999, she founded The North India Cerebral Palsy Association and established Ashirwad, providing comprehensive services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Motivated by her son’s cerebral palsy, she became a passionate activist, helping her son become a senior software developer and inspiring others. Dr. Sodhi has served on the board of the National Trust for Persons with Disabilities and is an educator focused on nutrition, lifestyle, and adolescence education. In 2021, she launched ‘Nourish By Neelam Sodhi,’ a healthy snack brand, while continuing her practice and contributing to national conferences as an obstetrician-gynecologist.
