Dr. Zubair Umer Mohamed Serves as Associate Professor in the  Department of Anesthesiology, School of Medicine, Kochi

Dr. Zubair Umer Mohamed dedicated intensivist, anaesthetist and researcher. He maintain a keen interest in data science and triathlon. His area of expertise include acute liver failure, meta-analysis, antibiotic stewardship and brain death. He has publishes 36 International and 14 national publications.

Surgical ICU caters for patients after major gastrointestinal, urological, vascular and ENT procedures. I provide critical care support for patients with liver disease (acute and chronic) and after solid organ transplantation.
April 3, 2022 – August 13, 2023 Consultant in Intensive Care King Faisal Specialty Hospital and Research Centre, Madinah, Saudi Arabia Consultant for a 24 bedded Hematology/Oncology ICU. I was incharge of the accreditation of the ICU (CBAHI) and lead for research and quality for the department.
