Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s best practices such as IQAC as a nodal office for rankings & accreditation, cultural education, and Live-in-Labs experiential learning program were showcased at the All-India IQAC workshop 2024 held at Uttaranchal University, Dehradun on 29 June 2024. The presentation also highlighted Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Chancellor, AMMA’s vision of education, in terms of 3 pillars, namely education for life, compassion-driven research and global impact. Amrita’s presentation was delivered by Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore campus. 750+ delegates from 25 states in India attended this national workshop in offline and online modes. The All-India IQAC workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Anil Sahasrabuddhe, Chairman of NAAC & NBA and former chairman of AICTE. Other distinguished speakers included Mr. Shailesh Bagauli, Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttarakhand; Dr. Rangan Banerjee, Director, IIT Delhi and Dr. Dharma Buddhi, Vice-chancellor, Uttaranchal University. The workshop was presided by Mr. Jitendra Joshi, President of the university and coordinated by Er. Rajesh Deorari, IQAC director of the university.
