Abstract : Due to Industry 4.0, there are many supermarkets and malls that use Autonomous Mobile Robots to scan and check products whether it may be for pick and place, arranging products or to check whether the products are placed in their correct places. The proposed idea is of a Vision Guided Inspection Robot which surveys the area and maps it accordingly to inspect products. The inspection of the food articles and products is carried out by YoloV8 algorithm which runs in the camera sensor. After it inspects and records the food packets and articles, it confirms whether the proposed item is in its actual position or not. If the items are not in their actual position, then it will inform the person at the counter to take the required action. By using sensors to map the mall area and creating a Graphical User Interface to control the navigation of the robot which will select the best possible path to reach its destination. By implementing an appropriate Simultaneous, Localization and Mapping algorithm the robot will map, localize and plan its path through the environment by getting the required information from the sensors attached to the robot in ROS platform.
