Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is celebrating a momentous victory as members of team bi0s clinched top honors at the prestigious Hacktheon CTF Competition held in Sejong, South Korea on June 19th. The team emerged victorious, securing the Grand Prize of ₩2,000,000 along with an additional Excellent Prize of ₩500,000, totaling ₩2.5 million Korean Won.

Hosted by Sejong International University in collaboration with the Korea Institute of Information Security and Cryptology, this intense cybersecurity challenge attracted global talent. Following rigorous online qualifiers held on April 27th, team bi0s stood out as the sole representatives from India at the offline finals on June 20th.

Comprising students from diverse disciplines, including CSE 3rd years Sidharth V, Nithin Chenthur, Jayanth Katragadda, Nandu S Pillai, Srijiith S, Alfin Joseph, EAC 3rd year Sejal Koshta, BCA 3rd year Mohith LS, and CSE 2nd years Suraj Kumar, Rohith G, Chandra B Nair, and Arun Krishnan, the team’s achievement underscores their exceptional skills and dedication.
