Bio

Dr. Ritesh Raj received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) in 2015 from SJB Institute of Technology (SJBIT), Bengaluru, i.e., affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, Karnataka, India. He received his Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, Jharkhand, India, with Control System specialization in 2018. He completed his Ph.D. in 2024 from the Electrical Engineering Department of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, in the research field of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Deep Learning (AI/ML/DL).

Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. He has 01 year of academic experience. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Medical Signal & Image Processing, Control Systems, and Computer & Electrical Engineering. He has 180+ citations, an h-index of 06, and 15 research papers published in Scopus-indexed journals/conferences since 2018.
