A pass in 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board with not less than 55% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics separately and an aggregate minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. No prior knowledge in biology or medicine is required.

  • PSO1: Develop an in-depth understanding of the principles, mathematical concepts, tools and algorithms of AI applied to metabolic, physiological and allied biological problems in Medicine and Healthcare.

 AIDS (Medical Engineering) is a program that is at the intersection of the Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer science and Medical Engineering. The syllabus of AIDS (Medical Engineering) is an expansion from the current AIDS program. This novel composition of AI, CS and Medical Engineering is aimed at creating premium skilled interdisciplinary leaders, future scientists, entrepreneurs under all areas of AI and Data science with a special focus on Healthcare.

What would be the syllabus of AIDS (Medical Engineering)?

The syllabus is inherently interdisciplinary and would entail covering the foundational aspects of all core engineering streams through Math essentials, right by the end of the first year itself.
