As part of collaborative quality initiatives and outreach program of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham with other higher educational institutions, Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman-IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus trained 100+ faculty of Akshaya College of Engineering & Technology, Coimbatore for a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Outcome-based Education (OBE) on 6 April 2024. Dr. K. Sivasankari, Vice-Principal of Akshaya College presided over the FDP, which was coordinated by Dr. Vignesh R. and Prof. Balaji S., IQAC coordinators of the college. Dr. Prashant covered topics such as Bloom’s taxonomy, Course Outcome (CO) design & attainment, CO-PO mapping, and closing the loop.
