Abstract : Driver behavior analysis has become a topic of interest nowadays due to its application in improving the driving experience and transportation safety. It can also be utilized for energy optimization in an EV since driver behavior is a factor that influences the energy utilization to a certain extend. In this paper, driver behavior is classified using unsupervised clustering algorithm. Smartphone sensor data is utilized for the study using K-means algorithm. A study of various performance metrices on K-means algorithm is carried out to identify the correctness of clustering.
