An Adaptive Shunt Hybrid Filter for Power Quality Enhancement

The project focuses on the aspects of filtering out all harmonic frequency components, need based reactive compensation, power factor almost unity, imbalance compensation, reduction in active filter rating, more flexibility, steady state and dynamic state operation, implementation of an Intelligent Controller for the Filter, comparative Analysis with significant filter configurations /algorithms. This research was funded by DST-SERC scheme for Young Scientists under Fast Track scheme.
