Ms. Aishwarya Anand, a freelance Content Writer and a Social Media Consultant, conducted a workshop on October 5, 2015, on ‘Challenges Posed by New Media’ for the students of B. Sc. Visual Media of School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus.

The emerging trends in journalism, changes that the traditional media would undergo to meet the challenges posed by new media, the need to hone the journalistic skills required to match the growing industry demands were discussed during the session. She also presented a few case studies on writing skills required specifically for the web which was well received by the students.
