As a part of Colloquia Series Amrita School of Business, Amaravati organized a talk session on the topic “Hr – Now & Then,” hosted by Mr. P. Kannan, former General Manager of Amrutanjan Healthcare Ltd, at the School of Business for ASB Amaravati campus, took place with great enthusiasm on October 14, 2023. The session commenced promptly at 10:30 a.m. in room A-110.

Mr. Kannan, as the distinguished guest speaker, centred his discussion on various HR practices adopted in the digital era. He also shared insights from his remarkable three decades of experience in recruiting and placing individuals in diverse roles. Additionally, he delved into the performance appraisal aspects within his company and shed light on the training processes used to develop employee skills within an organization.

The colloquium concluded with an interactive Q&A session, allowing students to pose questions and seek advice. Mr. Kannan’s practical insights and real-world examples offered valuable guidance to the aspiring HR domain in specialisation.

The event ended at 12.30 p.m. with a vote of thanks expressed by the students of ASB Amravati, leaving the attendees motivated and enriched by Mr. Kannan’s wealth of knowledge and experience.
