Since its inception in 2009, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been actively engaged in knowledge exchange and activities to share best practices with various higher educational institutions and universities. Accordingly, University IQAC is now engaging in an inter-disciplinary association with Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore. TNAU is leveraging the expertise of Amrita faculty members for improving the scope, employability and quality of their B. Tech Agricultural Information Technology (AIT) program, which is offered at the university campus and at the agricultural colleges in Tamil Nadu affiliated to TNAU.

Prof. Prashant R. Nair (Chairman, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and Vice-Chairman, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Engineering, Coimbatore campus) has been appointed as the Chairman of the TNAU B. Tech. AIT Review Committee, which also consists of researchers and experts from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and PSG Institutions.
