Simultaneously, our commitment extends to multidisciplinary research that impacts nanotechnology, energy, and sustainability, paving the way for pioneering developments in high-performance polymers and sustainable polymer technologies, including recycling. Moreover, we foster collaboration between academia and industry at national and international levels, promoting a dynamic environment that drives innovation and addresses pressing global concerns.

  • High Performance Thermoplastic Composites for strategic applications in nuclear, space and defence applications. Ongoing / completed projects with ISRO, BRNS, DRDO, DAE etc.
  • Biomimetic multi-functional coatings : seed grant from Amrita. Project proposal and collaborative project initiated with DRDO lab
  • Synthesis of Polymers from biomass as a substitute for petroleum based polymers
  • Self healing sensors based on sustainable polymers and fillers
  • Recycled Materials from End-of-Life Tyres and its Utilization in Tyre Industry – Industry PhD project
