Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amrita School of Arts, Humanities & Commerce, School of Computing, School of Physical Sciences, awarded degrees to a total of 310 students at its 20th convocation on 23rd September 2023. In their traditional Indian attire, the faces of Amrita students beamed with pride and joy when they received their degree of PhD or Post Graduation or Graduation at the grand annual ceremony.
In his convocation address, the Guest of Honour, Dr. K.N Raghavan IRS, Director General of National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics said, “World is the biggest teacher. To achieve anything, you should keep on observing the world. Success is not something that can be achieved easily. There will be a lot of turbulences, but you should stay balanced.”
Delivering the benedictory address, Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary, Matha Amritanandamayi Math said, “Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is dedicating one more batch of its qualified and worthy students to the world. The philosophy of education is not just equipping students for a living but also a formation for life with an emphasis on compassion-driven research to make impacts globally. We are confident that our students graduating today shoulder that responsibility with pride and an immense sense of integrity”.
