Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is the only university from India to be featured in the Times Higher Education Millennial Universities list. Overall, 36 universities from 23 countries featured in the Millenial list.
Prof. Raghu Raman, Chairperson, Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore campus, and Deekshitha Adapa, Amrita alumnus, attended the Young Universities Summit, representing Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at Tampa, Florida (USA) from June 5-7, 2018.
The Times Higher Education Young University Rankings list the world’s best universities that are aged 50 years or under. The 2018 ranking includes 250 universities, up from 200 in 2017. The top universities in the “under 50” list have been split into three tables in order to take a closer look at the different generations of young universities: Generation X Universities (founded between 1968 an 1985), Generation Y universities (founded between 1986 and 1999) and Millennial universities (founded since the year 2000).
