Bio

Dr. Rashmi Prasad currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati campus. Her area of research includes Solid Mechanics, Generalized thermoelasticity, Wave propagation and Variational principle.

She received her B.Sc.(H) in Mathematics from Patna Women’s College, Patna University (Bihar), in 2015 and her M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Gaya, in 2017. She earned a gold medal in her M.Sc. for her exceptional academic excellence. Also, she has qualified GATE-2022 in Mathematics. Further, she earned her Ph.D. degree from CUSB, Gaya, in June 2023. The title of her thesis is “Thermoelastic study of some problems under non-Fourier heat conduction law.” She has published 7 research articles and 1 book chapter in reputed international journals indexed in SCI/SCIE.
