AmritaCREATE, one of the research initiatives of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, conducted a one-day workshop on Online Labs at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Roorkee, Uttarakhand, on April 20, 2017. Twenty-two science teachers from five nearby schools participated in the workshop.

Mr. Chandrashekhar, Amrita Online Labs team member, led the session. During the demo session, he explained Online Labs to the participants and described how to perform an experiment virtually through the website. The participants highly appreciated the content of Online Labs and the training programme organized. The training session ended with the distribution of participation certificates and free OLabs CDs to the participants.

“It was good and informative in nature. This was simple and all the steps needed to use the content of OLabs were explained clearly,” remarked Mr.Harendra Kumar, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Uttarakhand.

“Nicely arranged and explained curriculum as per CBSE syllabus. Excellent high quality videos and animations supported by theory. MCQ/ objective question explained with a proper feedback,” commented Ms.Anshu Prasad, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Uttarakhand.
