Twenty-two Pharm. D. students from Amrita School of Pharmacy attended and presented posters at the recently held 68th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC), at Visakhapatnam, during December 16 – 18, 2016. Out of the 338 posters in the Hospital, Community and Clinical Pharmacy scientific session (H-category), the Pharm. D. interns of Amrita School of Pharmacy bagged first and second prizes.
- Ms. Greeshma James, Pharm. D. 2011 batch intern, won first prize for her poster:
“Safety and Effectiveness of Second Line Agents in Adults with Immune Thrombocytopenia”. She was guided by Prof. Emmanuel James, Associate Professor, Pharmacy Practice, Amrita School of Pharmacy.
- Ms. Preenumol Thomas, Pharm. D. 2011 batch intern, won second prize for her poster titled: “A Study on EGFRI Therapy in Non Small Cell Lung Cancer Patients”. She was guided by Ms. Meenu Vijayan, Lecturer, Pharmacy Practice, Amrita School of Pharmacy.
