Computational Linguistics for Sanskrit Scriptures

A Computational Linguistics Support System to aid Ayurveda doctors in gaining medical insights from Ayurveda Scriptures for enhancing diagnosis is under development. The project mainly deals with processing Sanskrit text data in the Ayurveda text. Here, the language processing includes preliminary tasks, such as transliteration, tokenization, normalization, etc., and advanced tasks such as dependence parsing and semantic level tasks. This collaborative project includes experts from CREATE, School of Computing, School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies, and School of Aryurveda.
