Keeping with the theme of Independence Day “Aazad Bharat, Saakshar Gaon”, another initiative of AmritaCREATE was launched on August 16th. The initiative has been launched to bring specialized tutoring, via Amrita Virtual Interactive e-Learning World (A-VIEW), to children in remote areas where there is limited internet connectivity.
The goal of this program is to relay free Educational and Awareness programs to all students across India. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham student interns who visited Amrita SeRVe villages will participate in these programs.
To flag off the venture, the AmritaCREATE team from Amritapuri campus conducted an A-VIEW session with the Amrita Education Center in Ukhimath rural, a small village in Uttarakhand. 32 students and 12 adults attended the session.
AmritaCREATE plans to teach Mathematics and Spoken English using the interactive distant education A-VIEW platform on a weekly basis using videos, animations and PowerPoint presentations.
