PhD student John Joseph, Dr. Shantikumar Nair and Dr. Deepthy Menon of Amrita Center for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine authored on a very prestigious high impact journal paper-Nanoletters (Impact Factor 13), the highest impact factor Journal in Nanotechnology after ‘Nature Nanotechnology’.
The team authored a paper titled “Integrating Substrateless Electrospinning with Textile Technology for Creating Biodegradable Three-Dimensional Structures”. The work is the first in the world on an innovative technique developed at Amrita Centre for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine for making nano threads and nano cloth. Congratulations to Dr. Deepthy and John Joseph.
Nano Letters is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal, established in 2001, published by the American Chemical Society. The journal covers all aspects of nanoscience and nanotechnology and their sub-disciplines. The journal is currently abstracted and indexed in Chemical Abstracts Service, Scopus, EBSCOhost, Index Medicus/MEDLINE/PubMed, Science Citation Index, and Current Contents/Physical, Chemical & Earth Sciences.
