OLabs Overview

The Online Labs (OLabs) is an educational initiative pioneered by AmritaCREATE, the Amrita Center for Research in Analytics, Technologies & Education at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in partnership with C-DAC, Mumbai; under a research grant from the Ministry of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. OLabs has received multiple rounds of funding worth 20 Crores from the Ministry of Education and Information Technology, MeitY, Govt of India.  

Online Labs (OLabs) for School Lab Experiments – Interactive Simulations

The lab hosts experiments in Physical, Chemical and Biology sciences for the students from classes 9 to 12 with content aligned to the NCERT/CBSE curriculum. To know more about OLabs for School Lab Experiments visit Project Page. This project was funded in part by MeitY, Government of India.

OLabs NextG: Next Generation Online Labs (OLabs) for Schools

OLabs NextG is under development where 500 new labs in Science, Computer Science, Indian Sign Language, and Entrepreneurship will be built in the next three years. Online Educational Science Labs using AR/VR Technology

Amrita OLabs has become one of the most popular platforms over the last few years since the labs can be accessed anywhere, anytime. To make Online Science Educational Labs more accessible, an AR/VR component for select labs is under development. Students can effortlessly access error-free real-time visualizations of science labs from anywhere, anytime. To know more, visit Project Page.
