Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru campus celebrated the National Education Day on November 11, 2014 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, an eminent educationist and independent India’s first Education Minister. The National Education Day has been celebrated in India since the year 2008.

In order to pay befitting tribute to this great son of India, Amrita School of Engineering​, Bengaluru organized various activities to focus on the importance of education and the Nation’s commitment to all aspects of education. Elocution and essay writing competitions were conducted. 50 participants and about 150 students and faculty audience made the occasion memorable.
