In compliance with AICTE information on observing International Students’ Day– an international observance of student community, held annually on November 17. Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru campus, observed the day with the concept of Chhatra Sansad– The Students’ Parliament.

It was an occasion for students to deliberate on issues that concern students and the country, share new ideas and to suggest new ways of moving forward. Students were provided with a platform to voice their concerns and expectations for more effective initiatives in education.

In the spirit of the International Students’ Day, a discussion on Shikshit Bharat, Saksham Bharat–Quality Education for All was also held. A few faculty members coordinated discussions of new ideas on quality education.
