Dr. Shantikumar V. Nair, Dean of Research, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and Director of Amrita Center for Nanosciences, Kochi will be conferred with the prestigious Prof. C.N.R. Rao Bangalore India Nano Science Award for the year 2014. 

The award will be presented at the  7th Bangalore INDIA NANO 2014, Asia’s biggest annual nanoscience and nanotech event, organised by the Department of IT, BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka in association with Vision Group on Nanotechnology and Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) on December 6, 2014 at Bangalore. Dr. Nair will also deliver a session in the National Lecture Series during the event. 

The prestigious annual award is presented to an eminent personality for his/her outstanding achievements in the field of Nanotechnology. A special jury under the Chairmanship of Bharat Ratna Prof. C.N.R. Rao selects the awardee.
