On Saturday, February 18, 2012, AMMACHI Labs conducted a meeting with Amrita SREE* District Coordinators to formally introduce them to the UNDEF, Women Empowerment Project, learn from their insights as well as gain their support. Amrita SREE will serve as the body through which training courses are deployed –and are therefore, critical to the success of the project. Many of the members and coordinators that attended the Meeting actively participate in SHG process and all have significant field experience in mobilizing members of the. The meeting was an opportunity to share and learn from their experience. They will certainly be an asset throughout the UNDEF project.
Coordinators were asked to rank the following vocations for perceived interest and useful to the SHG members in their respective areas on a scale of 1 to 10, (1 being the most interest/useful and 10 being the least).
