Abstract : Today's visible light communication (VLC) is popular area in of optical wireless for indoor applications. In this paper, generalized spatial modulation multiple-input multiple-output (generalized SM MIMO) technique is analyzed using flip orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (F- OFDM) to optimize VLC performance. The F-OFDM is used to obtain unipolar signal in VLC. The F-OFDM is compared with DC offset optical OFDM (DCO OFDM) and asymmetrically clipped optical OFDM (ACO OFDM) for generalized SM MIMO technique. The performance of bit error rate (BER) is analyzed in regard with signal to noise ratio (SNR). Simulation results shows that F-OFDM gives better performance.
