Dr. Shyamala C. K., Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science,Coimbatore, and Ms. Bindu K. R. along with Ms. K. Nalinadevi, Mr. Raghesh Krishnan K., Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science,Coimbatore, Ms. R. Aarthi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science,Coimbatore, Mr. V. Dayanand, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science,Coimbatore, Mr. M. Ritwik, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science,Coimbatore, Mr. Vamsikrishna Kiran, Mr. Sumesh A. K., Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science,Coimbatore, and Dr. R. Venkadeshan, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science,Coimbatore, organized the event. System Support was provided by Mr. Aswin and Mr. Senthil of ICTS. Overall arrangements were taken care by Prashant R. Nair, Vice Chairperson, Department of Computer Science, Coimbatore, and Arunkumar C., Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Coimbatore, A. S. Sunilkumar, Shanthi and Raja were in charge of the refreshments.

The contests comprised of two coding rounds. Thirty four teams with six members each, registered for the event. The event was conducted in three Computer Labs in the Academic block 3. In the first round, the teams had to solve one problem each. After the evaluation by the Judges, 15 teams were shortlisted and split into a 3 member team. Then the students were given the task of developing a game. Out of the fifteen teams, three teams were announced winners- Team Pixels won the first prize, Team Arusuvai the second prize and Team Hodors, the third prize. The winning teams were awarded cash prizes and certificates during the ASCII event on 29^th April, 2017.
