Bio

Dr. Prasanth A. P. currently serves as Assistant Professor  at the Department of Commerce and Management, School of Arts, Humanities & Commerce, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi. He is a member of the Board of Studies for Commerce and BBA programs and guides five Ph. D. candidates at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in the area of Entrepreneurship Development, Tourism, Green Banking & Green Marketing.

Dr. Prasanth A. P. received his Ph. D. in Commerce from M.G University Kottayam, Kerala. He has  Master in Commerce (M. Com.) from the University of Calicut and Bachelor of Education from M. G. University. He has 8 years of experience in teaching, 4 years in research.

He has given invited talks about Entrepreneurship Development, Tourism, SPSS, Jamovi, APA reference style Research Methodology, International Finance and Sustainable development through Green Marketing.. He has chaired sessions in national conferences at St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth, MES Asmabi P. Vemballur, and College of Applied Sciences, IHRD, Kodungallur. His area of research includes Entrepreneurship Development, Micro Small Medium Enterprises, Tourism, Financial Management, Agricultural Finance, Green Marketing, Green Banking & Behavioural Finance

He has more than eight years of experience in teaching and four years of research. His post Ph.D. teaching experience is four and a half years. Currently, He work as an Assistant Professor and Research Coordinator at Amrita School of Arts, Humanities & Commence, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi, focusing on teaching and research.

His teaching assignments started even before my Ph.D. Initially, He had covered topics from undergraduate courses like, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Banking & Insurance, Strategic Management Direct Tax and Indirect Tax., Financial Management, Research Methodology, and Entrepreneurship Development. Later, He took courses in Financial Management, Research Methodology, Banking & Insurance, and Strategic Management. His research focuses predominantly on Entrepreneurship Development, Tourism, Financial Management, Green Marketing & Banking and Agricultural Finance.
