Title: An Efficient Regenerative Braking System under Normal and Extreme condition using Hybrid Energy Storage System with Frictional and Regenerative Braking Integration

Abstract: Transportation accounts for considerable percentage of air pollution, which is due to increased usage of IC Engine vehicles. Electric Vehicles (EVs) are though introduced in the market with many advantages like high efficiency, low cost per kilo metre, they are not as popular as conventional vehicles due to range anxiety and battery charging time. Regenerative braking is the important feature of EVs which regenerates, recharges the battery during deceleration and braking. The main aim of the work is to increase the regenerating efficiency and driving range. The proposed work is to introduce the effective controllers in regeneration. Machine learning algorithms are to be introduced as the different approach in the process of regeneration. The outcome of the work will decrease the range anxiety, which is the major resistant in the market of EVs.
