The paramedical Certificate Course in Ayurvedic Nursing is offered at the School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus.
Students once completing the course are capable of meeting different requirements in nursing care in different Ayurveda specialities. They will be proficient enough to provide nursing care at the level of outpatient & inpatient departments. At the OP level they may be able to assist the physician in partaking the OP related practices & procedures. They also will be competent in performing different inpatient ward practices & procedures and also in assisting the para surgical procedures in minor OT along with dispensing of Ayurvedic medicines.
