Abstract : Carbon nanotubes (CNT) are an outstanding development in the field of nanostructure. Unique characteristics of Carbon Nanotubes (CNT) make them a suitable reinforcing agent in Aluminium Metal Matrix composites. These composites are being anticipated in aviation for their high explicit quality just as utilitarian materials for their energizing mechanical and warm attributes. The property of carbon nanotube strengthened aluminum network (Al-CNT) composites mainly depends on the percentage weight of reinforced material in the base material. Thus the main objective of this review paper to addresses the concentration of CNT on tensile strength, yield strength and compressive strength of CNT - Al matrix composites.
