Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in India has witnessed a rise to its prominence in recent years. However, different perspectives of CSR and its purposes are debated among the people having their footprints in the CSR space. Most of such debates revolve around how business, societies, and the environment can be interlinked to create the greater good or how advancement in the agenda of responsible business management is possible to achieve a balance of the social, environmental, and economic imperatives. These partly normative and partly functional deliberations are crucial to serving stakeholders’ common interests. The programme aims to focus on the critical dimensions, approaches, and complexities related to CSR in India. The participants will get opportunities to develop a proper understanding of the growing legitimate demands in the CSR space, learn appropriate tools for making strategic decisions in CSR implementations (choosing a partner or project), and prioritize mechanisms to deal with complexities in cross-sectoral partnerships.

The course delivery will be participatory, interactive and discussion-based. The important features of the course include CSR-related case analysis, experience sharing, and exercise on tools/techniques.

CSR managers, NGO Executives, HR Managers, Social Entrepreneurs, and Development Management Professionals. Applicants are expected to have a basic understanding of CSR and quantitative measures.
