Bio

Dr. Aishwarya N, currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Sr. Gr.) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai campus.

Dr. Aishwarya N is the Program Chair of Computer and Communication Engineering and an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Chennai Campus. She earned her B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and M.E. in Communication Systems, both with first-class distinction and a university rank at the postgraduate level. She completed her doctoral degree atAnna University, Chennai.
With around 11 years of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Aishwarya has authored over 25 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. She has also contributed two chapters to the Springer book series, which have garnered significant attention from researchers worldwide. In addition, she has completed several certification courses from NPTEL, Coursera, Udemy, and Great Learning, focusing on image processing with deep learning.

Dr. Aishwarya’s research interests include multimodal and multisensor fusion, animal health, crop disease detection, and cancer diagnosis. She is an active reviewer for journals such as Infrared Physics and Technology, Biomedical Signal Processing and Control, and Signal, Image and Video Processing. She is also a life member of various professional bodies, including the Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE).
