The Department is well-equipped with laboratories for Digital Design, Digital Signal Processing, Microprocessor, Analog & Digital Communications, Electronic Circuits, and VLSI Design which cater to program needs.
The faculty team consists of experts from industry and academia. Several faculty members have received their graduate and postgraduate degrees from institutions of international repute such as University of Texas at Austin, USA, University of California, USA, University of Milan, Italy, University of New Mexico, USA, Indian Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Science, and have been working on research and development projects in firms across the globe. Also, faculty members having industrial experience from India and Abroad in core technical companies like International Sematech, USA, Cirrus Logic USA, Syntest technologies, USA, ST Micro Electronics, USA, Insilicon Inc. USA, Arasan Chip Systems, USA are also there.
Our students actively participate in organizing various events such as technical workshops through the IEEE student chapter. Several faculty members and students are actively engaged in research and regularly publish their work in international journals and conferences. An excellent academic environment is available for creative and productive work both for faculty as well as students. Future plans include introducing more postgraduate programs and research facilities.
