Selection Process

General Rules & Guidelines for the Preliminary’s and Final’s Events
  • The Participants need to join the Video Meeting provided on time.
  • The Quiz is static and will happen only one time.
  • All the Questions will be screened by the Quizmaster for about 20-25 seconds each.
  • Some Questions may be starred, and such questions will not carry any extra points but will be considered for tie breaks.
  • A Blank Form (MS or Google) or a Custom Link will be provided, through which the Participants need to submit their answers.
  • Once the Questions are completed, the form will automatically close within 20-25 seconds.
  • All the Questions are well researched, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard unless there is strong evidence of a mistake or error.
  • The Ties, if any might arise, will be broken in the following order: Accuracy, Starred Questions answered, Sudden Death, Earliest Submission.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be intimated for the Final round.
  • The Participants are requested to maintain discipline throughout the event, like keeping themselves on mute unless required. (Amrita to always have a Zoom Admin at vigil).

Participants should not screenshot or copy or by any means replicate/reproduce any of the content shared/displayed during the proceedings of the quiz.
  • The event is mostly being organized on a digital platform, in view of the pandemic situation. The participants agree that the Organisers would in no way be responsible for the internet connectivity that is required at all stages of the quiz. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to equip themselves with robust internet facilities to take part in this event.
  • The Organisers will put in their best effort to ensure the technology requirements at their end, such as functioning of the software, servers, etc. to provide a great experience. However, the Organisers would be in no way responsible if for any unforeseen reasons there is a failure at their end on these fronts.
  • By entering the event and / or participating in the Quiz, the attendees permit themselves to be photographed / video-graphed / recorded by electronic and print mediums for telecast / publication and other display usage of the organisers.
  • Once you register for the event you indicate your acceptance that the decision of the organisers and quizmaster will be final and binding on all issues related to the competition and no correspondence in this regard would be entertained.
  • By registering for the event, you also indicate your acceptance to these terms and your consent to the effect that the organisers can send you communication from time to time regarding other initiatives by the organisers or partner entities.
  • The decision of the Quizmaster and/or Organisers is deemed final and binding on all participants concerned. No Correspondence in such regards will be entertained by the Organisers.
  • Fair Play Policy is encouraged, and any discrepancy found in the authenticity of the answers, or any suspicious behaviour may be met with a penalty on points or disqualification and, on the Quizmaster, or Organisers’ discretion.
  • Prizes once awarded will be final and there would be no exchange/substitution of the prizes to the winners.
  • Neither the Organisers nor the sponsors, or employees, consultants, agents, third party service providers of the Organisers may be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred because of usage of the prize by the winner once delivered by the Organiser
