‘Labour & Skills Department, Government of Kerala’ hosted a conclave, ‘National Skill & Entrepreneurship Innovation Conclave’, to bring a platform for eminent stakeholders to address global best practices for entrepreneurial mindset and ecosystem.

Dr. Krishnashree Achutan (Director – Cyber Security and CEO of Amrita TBI, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri) was invited as a speaker. Dr. Achuthan spoke about Amrita’s practice of building an ecosystem to nurture the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship by building multiple activities like workshops, credit-based courses, Idea clubs, Problem-solving hackathons, Certificate programs that are globally recognized.

Amrita’s unique framework of four pillars was also shared, viz, 1. Facilities, 2. Activities and Platforms, 3. Giving the right kind of access and 4. Focusing on the outcome encourages students to first experiment and then implement.

The conclave was hosted from February 25 – 26, 2021. The topic of the event was “Role of Higher Education Institutes in Imbibing Entrepreneurial zeal to Young Minds ”. Other speakers were Archana Mantri (Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University), Abhay Kumar (Vice-Chancellor, Pratap University), Vikas Singh (Executive Director, ITES Education Group) and Sunil Shukla (Director-General, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India
