Abstract : The goal of anticoagulation therapy with warfarin is to decrease theclotting ability of your blood so that blood clots are prevented. The most importantaspect of warfarin therapy is to keep your levels within a therapeutic range. If yourlevel goes too low, you are at risk for blood clots, if it goes too high, you are at risk for bleeding. Many factors can affect your level.
