The preliminary rounds started from February 1 and extended till February 16 and the main sports were conducted from February 18-19, 2019. The theme for the fest was ‘Legendary Sports Men’. The theme was promoted through various cultural events by the conducting batch and first-year students. The indoor events which took place were chess, carroms, badminton, table tennis. The outdoor events were cricket for girls, throwball, basketball, volleyball and athletics. Events like shot put, carroms, table tennis and cricket for staff against student teams were also included. A farewell football match was conducted for the final year students.

The award distribution was held on February 19, 2019, where all the winners of various events and the best sportsman and sportswoman were honored with medals and certificates. An award was also given to the best emerging player from 2018 batch, the first years. The support and encouragement shown by the sports committee, teaching and non-teaching staff and all the five teams was commendable. The sports fest Udghosh 2019 came to an end with the announcement of the champions, the team ‘Aagneya’. The sports committee appreciated the conducting batch, Anthareeksha, for their hard work and for the successful completion of the event.
