Abstract : The inefficient charge separation is one of the major impediments to improve the overall power conversion efficiency of the organic photovoltaics. Herein we demonstrate a new inorganic hole transporting materials for organic photovoltaics. Cu2CdSnS4 hole transport layer was deposited by solution based approach in low temperature by simple method. The thickness dependence of Cu2CdSnS4 hole transport layer on photovoltaic performance of organic solar cells was studied in details. The hole extraction activity of Cu2CdSnS4 thin films were compared with the reference PEDOT:PSS hole transport layer in the fabrication of P3HT:PCBM solar cells.
