With funding from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs [MoTA], which has declared Amrita as a Tribal Center of Excellence, Amrita Ayurveda has united with AmritaCREATE to boost the health, nutritional, and economic status of tribals through digital learning.

The Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, has been unstinting in her campaign to promote organically grown produce. Our Integrative Health Training Team has been promoting this campaign by conducting classes dedicated to kitchen gardening and the ideal types of products that can be cultivated easily at home during the Health Worker training sessions. It is heartening to see the fruits of their labor in the form of pesticide-free organic produce even during the pandemic.
