Gait laboratory at Amrita Mind Brain Center funded by the Department of Science & Technology uses low-cost accelerometers to record gait signals during walk and identifies the features responsible for differentiating the gait phases.  Also, EEG and accelerometer sensors were used to understand the coordination between the central nervous system, the limb, and the musculoskeletal system that helps to develop EEG brain computer interfaces for assistance during walking.
