Faculty members from Amrita School of Ayurveda visited the University of Milan under the Indo-Italian project.
Amrita School of Ayurveda inaugurated its ACARA (Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Ayurveda) Laboratory on December 15, 2017.
Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and University of Milan has jointly received funding from Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and Ministero Degli Affari Esterie Della Cooperazione Internazionale, Italy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Italy) for researcher exchange program for a duration of three years from 2017- 2019.
Dr. P. Ram Manohar, Director, Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Ayurveda, Amritapuri Campus, was an invited speaker at the 19th International Ayurveda Symposium held at Birstein, Germany from 8th to 10th of September, 2017.
The women’s Chess team of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus won the runner-up trophy at the Inter Amrita Chess Championship, Coimbatore Campus from September 14-16, 2017.
The Graduation Ceremony of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, was celebrated on 10th September, 2017, at Mata Amritanandamayi Math. Mr. M. Rajeevan, Secretary, Ministry of Health Sciences and Mr. G. Satheesh Reddy, Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister, were the Chief Guests of the event.
Dr. P. Ram Manohar, Research Director, Amrita School of Ayurveda, participated in a Panel Discussion on “Integrated Healthcare Models” during FICCI Heal Conference on “Indian Healthcare: The Patient’s View” in New Delhi on 18th August 2017.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham faculty member, Dr. P. Ram Manohar, Research Director, Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Ayurveda, Amrita School of Ayurveda, was invited to deliver a talk titled, “From Bench to Bedside: Research on Cancer in Ayurveda at Amrita University”, on May 23, 2017, at the National Cancer Institute, Shady Grove, Bethesda, Maryland, USA.
