On December 16, 2015 NVIDIA India awarded Dr. Shyam Diwakar the NVIDIA Innovation Award for Amrita School of Biotechnology’s work on Computational Neuroscience. From the academic year 2016, Amrita School of Business offers Business Analytics as a new specialization for MBA students.It has begun accepting applications from the MBA aspirants. Understanding the scope for Business Analytics in the industry, Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore (ASB Coimbatore) has started offering the subject as a major specialization for its MBA students. The b-school has initiated many industry alliances, including an association with IBM to provide students the necessary industry skill set. As a part of it, IBM recently established Amrita-IBM Business Analytics Lab in the campus.
