Abstract : This paper presents simulation results of a parallel plate Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) plasma operated at lower pressure (100 mbar) in Argon gas atmosphere with 2 mm gas gap. The modeling has been carried out using COMSOL Multi-physics code. The discharge delivers 25 mA peak-to-peak current and 0.458 W average power at 2kV applied RF voltage and 35 kHz frequency. The obtained results are identical with the experimental results and need to be verified.
