Abstract : This paper introduces electromagnetically coupled hairpin resonator with band pass response in the frequency spectrum. The filter is optimized for low pass band insertion loss, high band stop rejection and good frequency selectivity. The influence of multiple resonators in the filter characteristics is also analyzed. The proposed filters are suitable for wireless communication systems.
