A guest lecture on “BSE–IPF Capital Market Awareness Programme” was conducted for the MBA students of Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, on September 3, 2018. The resource person was Mr. K. Thangaraj, Senior Associate, Lotus Knowlwealth, Mumbai. He addressed on the basics of capital market and stock market.

Sixty- four participants from the first year and second-year MBA students of the campus interacted with Mr. Thangaraj on the importance of investments and various misconceptions associated with the stock market. The highlight of the lecture was: “Be adequately insured and start investing in capital markets from your first salary”.

Dr. A.Senthil Kumar, Assistant Professor (Sr. Gr.), Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, was the faculty coordinator for the event. Mr. Jerin P. Joy was the student coordinator of the event.
